MTP® Fibre Breakout Cables

Our high quality Breakout Cables provide the backbone for Data Centre cabling, designed for data centre high-density fibre patching.

A breakout cable has one MPO/MTP® connector on one end for interfacing a QSFP+ form factor switch, with breakouts of LC connectors on the other end for providing connectivity with an SFP+ form factor switch

Our MTP® Breakout Cables have MTP® female to LC male gender connectors with a choice of 8, 12, or 24 fibres, and 4, 6 or 12 LC breakouts. Available in both duplex and simplex format. The MTP® connection interface conforms to the IEC-61754-7 international standards.

The MTP® connector is a registered trademark of US Conec. Whilst it is still an MPO connector, this brand is generally regarded as being one of the best performing connectors hence is more expensive than the standard MPO offering.
