Aviation & Defence Case Study

A global aviation company ordered a large quantity of Arista compatible Active Optical Cables (AOCs) before encountering a coding issue during product testing. One end of the Arista compatible cable was being connected to Mellanox hardware, so test samples of dual coded AOCs were sent for further evaluation, which functioned perfectly. We recoded the remaining modules and issued a new BOM which enabled the client to confidently install our products across 14 global sites with the same hardware.
