This PCIe Intel I210 Single-port Gigabit SFP Fiber Network card is a single port, compact, low power component that supports GbE designs, it supports compliant with the IEEE802.3u specification for 10/100Mbps Ethernet and the IEEE802.3ab specification for 1000Mbps Ethernet.

It can be used for a server system such as rack mounted or pedestal servers, another system configuration is for blade servers as a LOM or mezzanine card, it can also be used as an in embedded application such as network appliances.
